Vietnam Mining Trucks

Ship 5 x dump bodies, each measuring 11912 x 6350 x 380 cm and weighing 21,000 kg

Reason:

Mondiale VGL Perth-based client required international transport for five mining truck trays (dump bodies) from Vung Tau, Vietnam, to Long Beach, USA.

Challenge:

This project involved a part-charter vessel to ship five dump bodies, each measuring 11912 x 6350 x 380 cm and weighing 21,000 kg, from Free on Truck (FOT) in Vietnam to Cost and Freight (CFR) in the USA

Project Oveview

  • Mondiale VGL Projects was tasked with coordinating the global shipping from Vietnam to the USA.
  • The five trays were loaded in three parcels, with two parcels double-stacked and one as a single unit.
  • This included booking the part-charter vessel, arranging the timely collection of all trays from the manufacturing site south of Ho Chi Minh City, and coordinating overnight transport to the port of loading.
  • The project encompassed export handling and secure loading onto the vessel.
  • Mondiale VGL Projects Australia also assigned a dedicated representative on-site in Vietnam to oversee the loading and transport operations.

Project Result

  • The trays were loaded onto the vessel within the allocated window.
  • Overnight transport to the port was executed seamlessly, ensuring timely arrival.
  • Vessel loading was completed as scheduled, meeting all client requirements.
