Mondiale VGL Projects Australia in collaboration with its China office, arranged end-to-end Transport of 400+ Roof Support Units (43T each) from China to East Coast Break Bulk ports.

Challenge:

Full end-to-end project management for the equipment from the manufacture factory in China to various ports of the East Coast of Australia, including services such as: Liaise with Stevedores to Discharge freight under hook onto shuttle trucks, Transfer units to booked and prepared LayDown yard with lifts to ground, Short-term storage with access for the clients' engineers to perform quality checks, Load to transport, Transport to the final mine sites.

Project Overview

  • Mondiale VGL Projects China was engaged by the shipper in China to handle and book Transport and several Charter Vessels from China to Australia
  • Port of Discharge: Mackay, Newcastle and Port Kembla, Australia
  • Vessels were loaded in time to arrive in Australia as scheduled
  • Discharge commenced on the same days of arrivals
  • Mondiale VGL Projects was responsible for the discharge of the vessel, respective LayDown Yard operations and Load Outs to Mine Site, contracting Stevedores, Transport with shuttle trucks from under hook alongside vessel to LayDown Yard, Marine Surveyance, 10,000 sqm LayDown Yard, Crane unload from transport in/out of LayDown Yard, Transport to the final Mine Site, Queensland
