As previously advised, the Maritime Union of Australia (MUA) has been carrying out protected industrial action at Patrick Terminals around Australia and this has been ongoing to varying degrees over the last few months.

Patrick Terminals advise they have recently received further notices from the MUA, a summary of which is as follows:

Patrick Terminals – Brisbane AutoStrad: A ban on overtime and working of shift extensions from 2300 hours, Tuesday 28th September until 2300 hours, Friday 1st October.

Patrick Terminals – Sydney AutoStrad: (1) A ban on overtime, working of shift extensions and other work from 2200 hours, Friday 1st October until 0600 hours, Tuesday 5th October. (2) A stoppage of work from 2200 hours Saturday 2nd October until 2200 hours, Monday 3rd October.

Patrick Terminals – Melbourne: (1) Bans on overtime, working of shift extensions, and a ban on work for rostered off employees –various dates and times ongoing through October. (2) A stoppage of work of 4 hours from 0300 hours and a stoppage of work of 8 hours from 1100 hours every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for four weeks in October commencing Monday 4th October.

Patrick Terminals – Fremantle: A ban on work for rostered off employees from 0700 hours, Tuesday 28th September until 0700 hours, Tuesday 19th October.
